n:, I've made better out of a short length of clear hose and a 9v battery. I don't think any injector cleaning should be done on the car, Have you ever seen a professional injector shop do this before? If you can't afford the $10-15/inj. to have them cleaned and flowed you can get a piece of clear tubing that fits over the injector top, fill it full of some sort of carb cleaner, hook an air line to the top regulated at 60psi (so you can force the cleaner through the injector) and hold it open with a 9v battery so you don't roast the coil inside. You'd be suprised what nasty **** I've seen come out of an injector before. Just be super careful you stop "cleaning" before the tube runs out of cleaner, I'm not sure what happens if you force air through the injector.

To properly clean an inj, the crud needs to be backflushed, not disolved w/ carb cleaner, and blown into the body of the inj.
There's a filter basket in the top. It filters the fine $hit out. They must be pulled and replaced, after the injs are cleaned.

Send your injectors in to me if you need them done , this way , at least you aren't wasting your money . I have an actual fuel injector flowbench , ultrasonic cleaner and reverse flush with heptane and you also get an injector flowsheet back along with each of your injectors individually labelled according to your flowsheet . You wouldn't believe the magic I can work with injectors some people think are junk ! $80 plus shipping for a set of 8 injectors .
