Default Cleaning hands?

What do you guys you to clean your hands? I use stuff in the auto parts stores but they don't work well getting under finger nails and sometimes don't work good between the groves (handprint) on skin.

I use GoJo.. which works really well. I just started using the blue concentrated Dawn in the shower which works great.

a year ago i used some trial crap like a glycerine lotion or something you can use before you go to work then it comes off amazing... I mainly used it when I had to pack huge bearings.

you'd be amazed how well a splash of motor oil works at taking off the nasty stuff, then i use whatever soap is around for the finishing touch. normally we have gojo laying around, but if your ever in a bind use the motor oil.

I tried adding a little baking soda onto my hands yesterday after working on the car after I'd soaped my hands up and the extra "grit" seemed to work wonders for getting the gease/grit out.

Take it easy

Kresto or Snap-on hand cleaner is all I ever use. When you get done with a diesel and go jo wont clean your hands and Kresto will you tend to change quickly.

ZEP Grip. I work on large chain driven conveyor systems a lot and I find its the only thing that gets all the crap off my hands. Chains are constantly lubed with oil mists and are usually dripping with excess lube when I have to open one up.

*edit* I forgot if I get open gear grease or fifth wheel grease on my hands its on there for days. Sounds like I'll be giving Kresto a try

I use Goop. It is made for stains on fabric, but it works wonders for me. I think it is around the same price as GoJo.

Zep Cherry Bomb. It has a nice smooth grit, smells nice, and works a lot better than gojo or fast orange imo. That's what the motorcycle dealership I used to work at stocked. The best I can describe it would be Gojo, dawn, and fast orange mixed together but it smells like a cherry air freshener. If you want to get everything off just go with a squirt of cherry bomb and a squirt of concentrated dawn. It actually works pretty good under fingernails too. I just like it because it doesn't seem as harsh as some cleaners but yet it cleans better. The bar press dispenser is nice too

A little 93 Octane works wonders, but it can be hard on your skin!

Something else that works to keep your hands clean is the purple Nitrile gloves. Wal-Mart sells them for about 4.00 a box. They work great and are pretty tough, although gasoline will cause them to swell.
