I bought a Harbor Freight orange one. It was ~$60 and comes with a metal cutting blade. It's cut a lot of 3" exhaust pipe and it still works.

I've got a dewalt chop saw, made specifically for metal cutting, works great. I've had it for 3 years now and it has cut countless pieces of tubing and even solid metal axles. Works great

I use a Hitachi chop saw, made for metal cutting. Have used it for about a year and cut tons of plate/pipe/tube/stock. I personally do not like it at all. Its way too loud, slow, and messy. My next purchase for my garage will most likely be a metal bandsaw.

We have one of those. The brushes went out after someone (no names) tried to cut plate steel with an old disk. 5 minute fix. This thing is well worth the money. It is going to handle cutting metal a lot better than a miter saw in the long run. I love it and it is a nice piece of equipment to have around.

Miter saw's are for wood and a chop saw's are for metal. Two different type of saws.

10" compound sliding miter from harbor freight for $99. Used it for flooring and crown. No problems at all.
