Default Anyone ever hear of a "turbo socket"

Heard about it on another message board... person said it's for loosening stripped bolts... he said you can get it from snapon mac etc... but I couldn't find anything on there site...

Any idea how it works and where to get it?

It it the socket that has all the needle-like pins in it to conform to the bolt head? I bought the ole cheapo from home depot. It also beats looking for your wheel locks for you rims, because it will conform to the right size. It could be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands.

I think i know what you're talking about. I saw some at pep boys the other day. They look like regular sockets, but instead of having a hex pattern inside, they have these ridges kind of like a screw extractor that bite into the stripped head and twist it out.

I found a picture of one on the snapon site. They call them "twist" sockets i guess. twist socket
