Air compressor????
Air compressor???? Was wondering if any one ever daisy chained air compressors or had one feeding another. I just picked up another one so now i have a 6-gallon 150 PSI 2.9 SCFM @ 90psi and a 8 gallon 115psi 4.9SCFM @90 psi air compressor, I wouldnt to join the two @ 45PSI and have a "14 gallon" capacity and "8 SCFM" operating pressure. Is this possible? , i If any one could chime in i'd appreciate it.

theoritically that will work. at max psi. but as both of them drains the one with the high turn on will kick on first (and the second will not bc its turn on was not reached) and refill its tank. im sure there is a back feed valve that will not allow it to fill the other. so from step one it will work but after depleting your air supply you will run into problems. bc after the first run then only one will be full the other will be empty.
It would work if you controlled them both off of the lower-pressure compressor's pressure switch, and tee the tanks together. I don't think you will be able to set the switch as low as 45 psi, though.
