I have you down for a tool Bryan.

The shop is behind a little. Looks like my original two weeks is going to be three weeks. Hopefully soon though.

Anybody wanting one just send me your email address and I'll shoot you a reply when they are here. Thanks!

Is this question really that hard to answer?

Mine has never broken the stud. Used 5 times now. Larry uses a very high tensile strength stud.

If anyone breaks a stud I sure would like to know about it.

If you keep a small amount of lube on the threads you should be able to use it on many springs. Also lube the tool after use to prevent rusting.

I should have a good supply of tools in next week.

Send Me Some Info On A Address To Send Money To.
What Is The Stud Made Out Of, Just Wondering If It Can Take The Pressure Needed To Compress The Springs Time After Time??
Looks Very Nice Compared To The More Performance Tool.

Thanks
Roger

The information I have says the studs are made of allow steel and heat treated to RHNC 48-53. The alloy contains Chromium, nickel, molybedenum and vanadium of suffiecient quantity to assure that the specified strength properties are met after oil quenching and tempering. It will take a lot more pressure than the springs exert! The nut supplied is a grade 8 nut.

If you maintain lube while wrenching it should last for more spring changes than the average will ever perform. It will take a lot more pressure than the springs exert!

My previous reply has both my email and home addresses.
