Site would be kinda stupid if no one was on here. I guess that is how I view the customer concept. I will just choose a new name and start again. It sure as hell ain't the end of the world!

If you want to start a new one you need a new email account, and I think it's against the "law" to have two accounts on the same IP. I'd like to change my name too but whatever, a rule is a rule. We are indirect customers if you ask me, the sponsors support the site, so we support the sponsors. If we didn't buy from them, ls1tech would look a LOT different.

I get so tired of hearing people complain about the rules...

Nobody made you pick that name......Just because our policy is not to change names means we are the bad guys now?

You do understand that we have well over 100,000 members right? Do you know how many name change requests we get? We have far less than a 10,000:1 member to moderator ratio. Given that only administrators can changes user names, that ratio is more like 10,000:.0001. There is no way we could keep up with the sheer volume.

That's one point only. The biggest problem is that people began to abuse the priviledge and they ruined it for everyone else.

The rules are in place for a reason. If you don't like them, you have the option of not participating here. Of course we'd rather everyone follow the rules and positively contribute to LS1Tech and to the community.

Thanks.
