It's been working fine for me.
You pretty much have to narrow it down to one word and search the forum it's most likely to be in.
For example if you want to search flash stall to find out the definition. You might go to the auto trans forum and type flash stall speed, and all the results are going to be more related to stall speed, stall converter.
For stuff like that I just search for flash in the A4 section.

I have learned to not use search on this website, If I want to find something I use Google: keyword, and then type: ls1tech, and usually that works for me.

If a admin doesn't know about this by now, they never will! Its going on almost a week now, I feel retarded having to make threads for questions I have because I CANT USE THE SEARCH, so its pretty stupid still.

Not from what I can tell. I just did a search for GROUND CONTROL as two separate words - no quotes and not in caps. It used to be an AND condition between the words and now it's an OR. It found links with GROUND or CONTROL and even some with GROUND and CONTROL. Not the best example since they could be in quotes but try KONI LOWER - same result - returns KONI or LOWER links not just links with both KONI and LOWER. I'd like to see it back to an AND condition. Hope that makes sense.

But that limits the search and may leave out good topics.

The quoted searches only show results if the words in the posts are in the exact order of those in the quotes.

I like it thise way cause I find exactly what I want.

before I would type in something and the majority of topics that came up had nothing to do with what I wanted.

quoting gets me word for word what I want to know.
