Default Banned due to Infractions

So heres the deal. I was refuting an obviously false claim that "Koni is the only company that makes shocks for lowered cars" on this thread. JD AMG and others did not like me pointing out that KONI shocks are not the be all and end all IMO. At some point in the argument... Sam Strano decided to get involved and proceded to bash me for no reason. I responded appropriatly. SHARPE then threatened to punish me if I didnt stop posting in the thread, I refused, and now I am "Banned due to Infractions" according to my screen.

This is total and complete BS. Anyone with enough patience (sorry guys) to read through the argument can see that I did nothing to provoke strano. I did not say anything bad about his business or him personally until I was attacked. I was accused of "arguing just to argue" called a "troll" and accused of "smearing" Strano. This is total BS, I did nothing but state my opinion and respond to the attacks/talking points of others on the forum.

I'm glad you linked to the thread. Pretty well, I'll let it do the talking. Of course, it's now closed due to the crap storm you perpetuated.

You weren't "banned." You were given infractions for trolling. Insulting users and sponsors calling them homosexuals, "sheep," "nutswingers," etc., is against the TOU. You were arguing just to be arguing. So, you were told to knock it off. You did not, and you dared me to do something about it. So, I did.

It's one thing to state and defend your position, even engage in a heated debate. It's quite another to troll a thread to closure. That is what you did, and that is why you received the infractions after first receiving a warning.

it seems like 97 got a little out of line but it also seems a few other parties unnecessarily got angry over an internet argument..

Looks like you're own attitude is the culprit to me. When guys like Sam Strano talk about shocks, I recommend closing your mouth and listening.

You are not banned (yet), you are restricted. This board does not tolerate foul mouth speaking sponsor bashing keyboard warriors with attitudes. Take a chill pill or find another board to annoy.

Man it kinda seems like you guys blew this out of the water. Did he really deserve all that? Seems like you guys just don't like him. I didn't see anything in there that should make you guys get so hostile against him. Everyone just needs to relax. Since when do you have the right to take away someone elses 1st amendment rights??? The guy was stating his opinion what's wrong with that?

His 1st amendment rights do not extend to private forums run by private entities. It only protects a private individual from being censured by the government (or state actor in some cases).

Privately owned site so the 1st doesn't apply and if the use of names hadn't been used then it would have all been ok.
