Why don't you just remove his infraction it was a simple mistake. We all know it will be gone in 10 days. Its the principle of how you took care of it, not if it has a lasting effect. Just a misunderstanding. Sounds like an honest mistake...

The infraction should be removed on principle regardless of when the infraction point will be removed. The mod did not respond to this appropriately.

This is ridiculous, we spend a lot of money and time on this site, treat us like customers.

We won't think less of you for admitting you made a mistake.

Ahhh... Well, that is a very good explanation.

A one-point infraction is really nothing -- it's less than a slap on the wrist even. But, don't we all get tired of people who post stuff that's blatantly in the wrong forum? I mean, when you think to yourself, "What the hell does that even come close to having anything to do with this forum?" Worse yet, posting questions about material covered in the stickies? "What lid/headers/oil?" Gah, that gets so freaking old.

Yeah, a lil 'ol 1-pointer for posting in the wrong section is nothing, but if it was because you had two windows open, etc., and not for "not reading the stickies," then I think Sarge can reconsider.

I've given an infraction before on mistaken pretenses (long story). As soon as I realized it, like 30 seconds later, I PM'ed the guy and told him it would be removed. No harm, no foul.

if he is pissed off enough to go and make another pointless thread that nobody cares about, then just remove the infraction and ban his ***. then you wont get threads started in the wrong section. plus, if he really cared this much about it, then he wouldnt have fucked up in the first place.

my vote is for sarge

I have been a member for quite some time and have noticed alot of changes on here. I do not know when this infraction thing started. How would I know if I recieved an infraction? What happens when you get one? Nothing until you collect 10?

Fellas , before this thread turns into an argument, I think I am going to shut it down.We are aware of what has happened and it is never good to see threads like this from a staff point of view. What I will do is discuss this privately with both sides of the fence and see if we can do here to achieve LS1fellowship again. If anyone on this site has something they need to talk to an admin about, shoot me a PM . I might not get back to you immediately but I will .
