I think its time for an updated LS1Tech banner. Its started to look a little plain and dated. I still like the logo itself, just the rest. Am I alone thinking this?

Unfortunately I can't agree with you. I think the banner is fine. But I fear change so..

Definetly time for a change. The new Camaro is now a reality, not a pipe dream like the computer sketch in the banner. Maybe have a member's car of the month go up there, change it out, make it a little contest.

 

I mentioned this I while back. The admins said they would change it if someone can come up with a banner with a 5th gen pic and LS1tech still in banner. No one would come up with a pic and the thread died.

 

Looks like we need to reach out to some photoshop pro's then huh. Spread the word

 

Definately! This is long overdue. There are plenty of talented graphic design artists here. . . lets make it work!

I would really like to see a car with an LS1 in the actual LS1Tech banner........

Why don't they just change the name to LSxTech.......

 

They said they wont change the name because LS1tech is to known. Also they said its got to be a 5th gen so people know the site is still relevant.

 

Who said it has to be one car? Could be a fade away of a few shots... 5th gen... maybe a ls1 t/a tail shot... engine bay shot of some ls car.

 

maybe different group car club pics. And every other month change it up. im not Bill gates but it couldnt be to hard.

 

i posted up in the photo shop sticky thread to get some people to maybe make some but i agree im sick of the cartoon 2010

Well.. Not to be a dick, but we had to of sometime.. There hasn't always been a 5th gen up there.... Has there?

 

i vote for a new banner. i say we do the tech member car every month on half of it and keep the cheesy 5th gen on the other half i guess to keep the others happy.
