There have been vendors in the past that were site sponsors who did in fact make a habit of screwing people. Our Admins did the best they could to look out for the members, and those vendors were removed.
Bro, if you go back into my deleted thread, I know you can since I myself have been a founding member of a 3000GT forum, you will see that the first thing i did was post a disclaimer stating that Yank Converters as in the company itself had nothing to do with the issue and that Mike was a separate entity in the sale of the timing sets all his own. I am not a jerk, lire or an *******, made sure all detains were known.

I know this is the internet world, but it still resides in the real world. to think that an Admin is incapable to take sides shows that you sir, with no disrespect intended, are blind. It is more than apparent how the members here feel about the Admen and the Mods, are you telling me all these concerned members are wrong and that they don't feel threatened or that they feel that they can't trust their Admins/Mods 100%... You all can't be that blind! Hell it is even evident in one of the posts in this thread ;rolleyes:

Just throwing this out there, with little knowledge of the actual transaction.

This determines responsibility:

"FOB shipping point" or "FOB origin" indicates the buyer pays shipping cost, and takes responsibility for the goods when the goods leave the seller's premises. "FOB destination" designates the seller will pay shipping costs, and remain responsible for the goods until the buyer takes possession.

I would guess 99% of transactions are FOB destination where the seller receives money and takes care of the shipping process, and is completely and solely responsible for the item until it is signed for by the buyer. Whether insurance is bought is up to the seller as they are the one on the hook for the goods. Whether or not they charge the buyer the cost of the insurance is up to the seller as the seller has nothing to gain monetary wise but the product that was bought.

FOB origin would require the buyer to purchase the product, and then arrange shipping him/herself. The buyer would pay the shipper to physically drive to the house/business and pick up the goods, and the seller is only responsible for the item until it leaves the door.

JUST FYI!!!

Your right Bro. At least I see that I am not the only one here that feels the same way. I am not say that you do, but i know there are MANY others that feel as I do, they just don't have the voice for it and I see why.

Pat G, again I thank you sir for deleting the unwarranted TR from Mike; I may have misplaced my feelings with your PM and misjudged you, I can openly admit that, but only time will tell. I am sure that my respect for you has not weight, but I for one hope I can go back to feeling as such since i truly did respect you. I give everyone the basic respect that I feel that all are entitled to, but rarely do I come to personally respect someone, and let alone by threads and posts alone.

End Rant/
