Exclamation Are there any ADMIN that I can trust and talk to please!?

I got this PM earlier today from Patrick G regarding an issue that I have with Yank/Mike. It is obvious that Patrick G is quite biased. I never flamed Mike on any open thread, I only presented the facts. Whats more is Pat G. deleted the TR feedback that I left for Mike yet even though Mike lied on my TR it still remains!

Can a trusted Admin please contact me in regards to this issue. I feel threatened now by Pat G and I think it is wrong that an Admin supports such transgressions.

I want to make it clear that I never thought that Mike failed to send the item, but I do blame him for not getting insurance. If you read Pat G's PM as well as Mikes reply in his timing set thread, it is obvious that they feel the customer should take the loss if the seller failed to insur the item. Are you kidding me. This is where I have the issue with Mike.

Anyways, here is the PM that Pat G sent me. Please if i could have a Admin contact me in regards to this I would appreciate it. Like i said, I now feel threatened by Pat G.

I have also seen the flame-laden PM's that you have sent to Mike and the relentless pursuit you've had in trashing him on every thread. This is wrong and it stops today! Please do not flame Yank any more on this forum over this issue as it appears they are not at fault and you have charged them back for the money. The only person out is Yank (who has no timing set and no money). Again, please refrain from engaging Yank any more on this forum. Take it to e-mail or PM. You have not been scammed.

Thank you!

This may not have been the brightest idea on your part, especially posting the PM. IMO, he was very professional in what he wrote, and I've seen some of the crap that has come spewing forth from your keyboard.

Are you denying that you sent this to Yank?

I do believe 95% of big vendors would simply ship another item or refund the money, being that he is just an individual and doesn't have the profit margins of a big vendor it is a little more difficult. I've been in the same situation. I sold a set of T-tops that I shipped via USPS, and they "never showed up." I do believe the person was actually scamming me.. but since I hadn't purchased delivery confirmation or insurance I had NO LEG TO STAND ON when they did a charge back through paypal. So, I was out the $150 I sold the tops for and shipping.. and the t-tops. I emailed him/her a pic of my USPS receipt also actually, as well as paypal, but there was nothing I could do about it.

Yank, I would say your best bet is just to resolve it. It sucks but I've been there before, that's why I now have a huge stack of delivery confirmation stickers for everything I ship USPS from now on.

I believe Pat G was being firm but professional in his PM. I understand you're upset but you really have gone too far.

And you're acting like a giant douche sending PMs like that, and posting this thread that you "can't trust" the mods/admins here. Then again.. how do you really trust ANYBODY over the internet?

Yup. That should be a lesson learned to anyone that sells an item over the internet. Without shipping confirmation, there's no way to prove that you sent it and they received it. The last time I sent an item using insurance, it was something like $1-2 extra. Definitely worth it given the headache it prevents.

As I told Pat G. that was sent in a PM, I NEVER openly flamed Mike. Pat G is the one who now made it public, not I. Again, I NEVER openly flamed Mike, I just posted our PM so that everyone got both sides. Funny how I put my self on the line for possible scrutiny when I did that, but none what directed towards me except by the Mods and Admin. I did not slander Mike, I only presented the facts.

Pat G removed the TR and that I appreciate and respect.

The ONLY time anyone has seem my keyboard spew anything negative was in the event I was wronged or attacked. I don't talk getting screwed or disrespected lightly. I will flame or come down on anyone without just cause.

Feel free to analyze my very first thread regarding this issue with Mike and tell me that I was not calm and collected. Only when I found that it was deleted did I go off. And again I add that it is funny how everyone that posted agreed with me in BOTH threads.

Dude I am not doing this for fun! Why don't you place yourself in my shoes and see how this would make you feel! i don't wish to fight with anyone here let alone someone that I gain respect for by simply read threads the way I did with Pat G, but i will not allow my voice to be stifled when I am being wronged!

I come here to chill, learn and make friends, not to fight, defend myself or get cheated.

My threads about this issue was not to bash or slander Mike, it was simply to bring to light the poor way he conducts business.

Wrong.

By choosing to create this thread, you have made this a more public issue than it ever was. Furthermore, you've stated that you feel "threatened" by an Admin that did nothing more than handle his obligation to this site in the most professional manner possible.

All the Admins and staff will stand behind Patrick on this, I assure you. You have not and will not gain anything positive by posting this. It's in poor taste, IMO.

Lots of talk of dick sucking in that PM. Hmmmm. Fetish? Oral fixation?

Ok I'm done. I have nothing useful to add.

I always use Delivery Conformation, Tracking and Insurance, as well as Delivery signature when I feel it calls for it. I cover both my *** and the buyers.

Yeah I was a douche bag to Mike after I seen that he had someone up in high places that was deleting my thread to protect his "good name' I will freely admit to that, but like I said, it was done in the privacy of a PM that I went off on him.

Listen, I have learned to over my ***! So let me ask you this, though a little harder of an example, but same principle, if your sister (if you have/had one) was going on a date with some guy she just met and knew nothing of, wouldn't you expect her to cover her *** and tell you or someone the details of the situation in the even something bad happened? Well same thing here! I don't know Pat G, I had grown to respect the guy from the threads I had read about his, but i did not know what kind of guy he was. And once I learned that he shared the same views as Mike in regards to the customer taking the loss and the he was the Admin that deleted my threads that were based on a legitimate issue I was having, I sure as hell did not trust him then. So yeah, I covered my *** and posted the PM that made me feel threatened. How was I going to know how he would act when seeing this thread.

Anyways, like I said, i am here to have a good time, not to fight. The word is out on Mike, but it seems that he will be changing the way he does shipping so all should be good in the future for him and his buyers because like i said, if it were not for the shipping issue, then i would have no problem to report about Mike.

Give it up dude, this is a fight you wont win. The admins here dont give two ***** about you, and on the contrary they care about keeping their sponsors happy. Cant blame them, thats the way business works.

So your best bet is to not carry all this out on the forum an pick up the phone and call Yank.

But as a sidenote when I had my 99 Z28 I dealt with Yank and they were awesome to me, I sent my stall back for a cleaning once and they gave me a free upgrade. But that was just my personal experience with them.

Why was this not posted in the negative trader feedback? I currently read those sections to see who is scamming who. In this case I would have to say that the shipper is responsible for the part to get to its destination point period. Say for instance I go and read about this in the negative trader feedback forum and find that someone I wanted to deal with was shipping items without insurance or delivery confirmation.. I'd hold back on buying parts from them to avoid this kind of problem. These things should be brought to light for "us".. The LS1tech members. It should not be erased or hidden from us. Maybe we will consider dealing with the vendor but ask for insurance and ask for delivery confirmation. This in my opinion is bad dealings. I always ask and I always buy insurance and confirmation EVEN IF NOT ASKED. Just my .02cents.

Anyone that has ever been an Admin here is a long time, well known person either on this site and/or in the LSx world in general. They are not unknowns and/or scammers and/or here to threaten members.

Yank is NOT a problem vendor. They make a good product, and they are not known for screwing people over. There have been vendors in the past that were site sponsors who did in fact make a habit of screwing people. Our Admins did the best they could to look out for the members, and those vendors were removed.

WRONG! Mike made this a more public issue that it should have ever been! There was a simple remedy to this and I gave Mike every opportunity to resolve it outside of paypal and the open forum. Hell i even told him that I did not want to file a claim because i knew it would freeze his account and would interrupt his business, lol, yeah I am such a scumbag

You're damn right I said I felt threatened! Who are you to decide what constitutes threatened to me!!?? When I seen that Pat G had the same views that Mike has on the customer taking the hit if the seller fails to have the item insured, plus delete my legitimate thread regarding this issue, then yeah, I fell that he is biased towards Mike and that I should expect anything. Because he handled the Pm in a professional manor does not mean a thing. I can tell you in the most professional, kind and pleasant way that I am going to rob you and take your money, but I bet you will still feel threatened.

I am sure there will be some Admin that will understand where I am coning from, but consensus rules. Funny though, if I am soooo wrong then why is it that so many empathize with my situation, even some that has done business with Mike and all went good?

I get that feeling Bro

I did call Yank and they told me they had nothing to do with the timing set sales, that that was Mikes project.

Like I said before, i had no issue with Mike, he was cool, but when it came time for the customer service he dropped the ball.

Yeah, I am done, lol...

Wrong again. Perhaps you didn't notice the fact that YOU started this thread? More public exposure, thanks to yourself.

You are comparing apples and oranges. I hope you realize that. Don't know what else to say otherwise.

If you honestly beleived that someone on the LS1 Tech staff "had it in" for you, then you would have just PM'ed another admin with your concerns, not started a public thread complaining about Admins threatening you. This just makes you look like you're out for attention.

Why post this in the Lounge anyway? We have a US&R section. More attention perhaps?
