Unfortunately, by this time, it's probably gone. It could be in your browser's cache, if your browser has one.
In the future, I would make sure you have selected the "Remember Me" option when logging in. This way, if your browser cookie is working normally, you won't be prompted to log back in if you take a long time to compose your message.
If you don't select the "Remember Me" option, and you're composing a message that takes you a long time and the forum doesn't see you as active, you will get logged out and prompted to log back in.
In addition, I make a habit of copying the text before submitting - if the message is hard to replicate - because there is so many things that can happen (internet outage, network outage, server issue, cookie issue, browser crash, etc.) that could eat the post before it's submitted.

ya totally sucks.. i almost ALWAYS copy the paste before i submit.. I tried cancelling the reload but as i was moving the mouse it switched over to ask for my login :/ wen i tried to cgo back it always pops this prompt to reload blah blah and i couldnt get back. ah well ill write another tomorrow

Really sorry to hear that happened to you, goodness knows it's happened to me at least 100 times on different websites.
The one solution that I have found, which seems work about 90% of the time when that happens is this:
Leave the tab where you submitted the post alone. Open a new tab, log into the site you're trying to post to, in that tab. Once logged in, go back to your original tab, and press 'back'. 9 times out of 10, this gets me back to the editor window, where I can resubmit the post, without having lost the work I put into it.
I hope this helps you down the road.
