How to add youtube vids to post
I did a search and couldn't find much on how to add youtube vids to my posts.
When I try to add a vid it just gives the web address of where the video is.
Any tips or suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

find the you tube video you want to put in the post and get the code. for this one I posted it is pLhK0RQ5Eg. if you have the url ie. you just cut off all the stuff before the p , then you wrap it in brackets with youtube in the first brackets and /youtube in the second set of brackets.

The forum has a plugin that suppose to pick up YouTube URLs and embed them rather than display a link. However, some YouTube links aren't being identified - which I believe are due to YT changes.
Typically, a YouTube video will have a unique string to identify the video. For example, using the above as an example:
http://youtu.be/pLhKh0RQ5Eg
or
pLhKh0RQ5Eg is the unique string for the above video.
If the software sees a youtube.com domain with a watch?v= followed by the unique string, it will automatically convert.
For example, the following will be automatically converted:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLhKh0RQ5Eg
