Default Parts classifieds

I can't search in the categories such as Drive train, suspension, and all the other categories. Nor can I search by state what am I doing wrong?

Do you see the search box widget on the left side while viewing the Classifieds:

If not, do you see the "Show Marketplace Search" link near the top? If you click on that, does the search box widget, as shown above, then appear?

Need more information on exactly why you can't search.

Having issues myself as well. I see the widget. I use the widget to select "Wheels & Tires", put in the price range, then searched. It worked for the first search, but when I clicked page 2, it was a generic search of all parts. I then changed it back to wheels & tires and tried to search again and it won't work now.

I can confirm that issue with the search. We'll look into it.

Thanks!

We are aware there is a bug with the searching of Classifieds as the search results aren't carried through to the next page. Thanks to HibachiZ28 for pointing that out to our attention.

However, beyond the problem noted above, I'm not sure of any other problems and would need more information. What exactly doesn't work? Examples?

Is the first page of results relevant to the state you search? Just subsequent pages (page 2, page 3, etc.) are wrong? If so, that's a known issue as described above as the search terms are not being passed to subsequent pages.

If that is not the situation, would you be able to provide a little more details to replicate? Using both Firefox and IE, whenever I searched by state for parts, the first page was always relevant to the search criteria.

When I search on Firefox the results come up all 11 pages different states, but when I run IE it actually shows up with what I search. I do prefer firefox over IE

You guys never should have changed the classifieds. It was much better in many ways before.

I'll do some checking into this. It was immediately looked into, and I thought it had been resolved. I can confirm it is still broken.
