Saved search IDs expire. The Get New posts search link is the following URL:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

Hi again Jeremy,
The link you gave me above worked perfect for a long time but recently stopped. I tried copying and pasting again. It says Sorry no matches. Please try some different terms. Ty.

Is the issue still occurring? It's possible there was a temporary issue with the search engine. Also, you won't get any results if there actually is no posts unread - such as doing a search after using the global Mark All Read link, etc.

Yes it is currently not working on my laptop or android s2, the link you gave me above worked for a long time but now it expires and gives me the error listed above. It is set to any new posts so there is usually new entries because thankfully this board is a big community.

You need to use (and bookmark) this link itself:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

Note that if you click on the above link and then bookmark it, you will have bookmarked a different link with a searchid appended to the link - which that will expire.

It looks like the same link as you gave me in July 2013. I will try it again. Ty.

I don't know how to make it any more clear. You need to bookmark the following link:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

NOT bookmark the link AFTER you've clicked on it.

The "get new" link, as posted above, does not expire. That you state it expires indicates you are not bookmarking the link as I described.
