Like to read the technical advice of a particular LS1Tech member? Want to easily see what your friends in the community are up to? We're introducing a new beta feature that lets you follow your favorite members' activity! Just like you can subscribe to a specific thread or forum and receive email updates when there are new posts, we're extending that functionality to subscribe to the latest posts by members of your choosing.

To get started, just click the name of any member next to one of their posts. You'll see a new option at the bottom of the pop-up menu labeled "Subscribe to User" (pictured below). Select it, follow the on-screen prompts to set your email preferences, and you're good to go.You can also edit your chosen subscriptions at any time via the new "Subscribed Users" section on your User CP's Contacts & Friends page.

Don't Want Subscribers?
We recognize that some may prefer to not let others follow their posting activity. If you wish to disable the ability for people to do so, we've provided an option at the top of your User CP's Edit Options page. Under the "Disallow being subscribed by users" heading, check the box labeled "Disallow users" box (pictured below), click Save at the bottom of the page, and you'll be all set.Please note that if you're trying to subscribe to someone and the link to do so is not visible, that means they have chosen to disable it on their end.
