Why is the abbreviation for For The Win coming up with asterisks?

because it's over used and is in the same basket as many of the lounge acronyms that have hopefully died off (haven't looked in a while)

OK, dumb question perhaps... and I know it is NOT an acronym... but what does it mean when people just reply "bump" on their own post?

Thanks,

Kix

Damn, very cool, I made it in this thread

Long story short...

My screen name back in the day was 5LITEREATER on multiple boards. It was taken on here so I just upgraded to 6LITEREATER (the 6.0s had just come out and I was spraying so I still felt it was legit, way more done to my car now).

One day I made a splitter for my car and it turned into a business (getting parts made for our cars no one else would) and some douche bag had just bought www.6LITEREATER.com thinking he could sell it to me, I said [email protected] off and called it www.6LITEREATERDESIGNS.com

I started making packages out of different things and at the time RaptorWS6 had started calling me "6LE" for short.

I liked how it reminded me of the "1LE" packages some F-Bodies had and started calling things the "6LE xxxx" to shorten the name, thread topics, etc...

Thus, 6LE refers to my screen name "6LITEREATER" or my company "6LITEREATER DESIGNS"
