Do we have active moderators in the Southern Section? Does not seem so.

I nominate lnuxhkr for several reasons.

1. He is VERY active in the section.
2. He has met and knows just about everybody in the southern section.
3. He is level headed and courteous to all.
4. He is mature enough not to loose his cool (wish I were ).

why 1madss? you wanna be a mod in there.. guess you'd start by getting rid of https://ls1tech.com/forums/southern-members/309193-thacker-inside.html huh? Just leave it alone man... nineball or someone will come in there if something gets out of hand.

and yes, lnuxhkr would be a good canidate

Oh don't get me wrong Ken. I am not suggesting we get someone who is going to have a happy trigger finger for the "BAN" button by any stretch. I love our section! It would just be nice to have a moderator who actually participates in the discussions. Speaking of which, you come to mind as a great candidate youself. Why not have 4 Moderators with You and Ben as the two new ones. Hell Texas has about 300 moderators I think why can't we have 4 ?

I may be there all weekend. Reckless was looking for volunteers to help out with the event. I said I was game and he indicated I was probably going to be helping out with the scales.

I just think that these your a *** ... no your a *** are a complete waste of resources. That trash would not be tolerated anywhere else on this site. It has no place here. Go back to the flame sites or PMs for that.

As far as me being a mod in the romper room. No thanks. I only drop by to see if there are any events going on in the area that I might be interested in, like racing. Calling names has no entertainment for me.

Leave it alone, why should I I have just as much say so as the next person on this site. True I just moved into the Southern section a couple of years ago, prior to that I was in Texas where you really had to have thick skin, before that Florida. I've been around this place for quie awhile and I have never seen the sheer volume of garbage being thrown around like in the Southern section lately.

Your right.. there is a good amount of crap in there.... but look, in all kindness, if you dont like it, dont respond to it on there, you did a good job of holding your tounge, which shows your maturity. It probably is annoying to you, yes, but I think maybe than making another thread to ruffle people's feathers that it would probably be better to take it to PMs and ask nineball or a moderator to help with the situation, you might find yourself in more grief that you bargained for by making a thread about it.

But, your right, I understand where your coming from... Normally i wouldnt even respond, but were having our own probs just recently in the truck section. If I were you and it bothers you to the point that you want something done, contact a moderator and maybe they can tone it down a bit.

Peace.

- Joe&Tiff.

Eh... 'Texas Members' forum moderators: CRAGER, Toxic Texan, mmiller, BigBronco, Strini SS

But the reason the Texas section has more moderators than any of the other regional forums is because it is many times more active than any of the other regional forums.
