Default Can only delete certain attachments, need to free up space, need help.

When I view my attachments through User CP, only some of them have the check box next to them for deletion. Why is this? There are pics on there that I no longer need and could use the extra space for new pics. I dont have the ability to edit/delete otherwise I would go in manually and just delete the pics. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

Jeramy, the others won't be able to help you in this instance. Their screens won't have this restriction. The issue is we've been through this before with you, SEVERAL TIMES. There seems to be a memory loss problem, a refusal to work with the site as the owners wish it used, or an outright lack of respect for the way things are on LS1Tech. As such, you've been restricted from deleting or editing in several (but not all) forums on LS1Tech as necessary.

We respect your ambition, your drive to work with your car, and are honestly quite impressed with your decent through the 11's and now into the 10's with your car. We are NOT impressed with how you don't seem to respect the staff when these delete issues keep coming up. The administrators of this site have talked it over, and we feel this is the best way to "force" a compromise. You still have the full ability to post on the website, as you should. You have just lost your ability to delete things in some sections, since that's where you have a BIG problem. We don't want you banned, we just want to make sure that threads need to stay put after you are personally done with them, or had something that you personally disliked. This isn't "Jeramy's LS1Tech"

Well said Brains. I concur! The guy just doesn't get it. Never has, and probably never will.

I was just cleaning out my PM's, and there's some that I save. One instance is this -- if anyone is curious when the last time we had this little discussion, it was just in JANUARY of THIS YEAR...

What you need is irrelevent. What everyone else on this site collectively needs is more important.

FYI - I've raised the attachment storage limits, so you no longer NEED to delete anything.

As you see everyone...this is the kind of treatment I get from the moderators on here. They treat me like I've committed a crime or done something illegal on here, when all I've simply done is deleted some threads to make new ones. I didnt want to clutter up the forum, so instead of having several threads, I wanted to consolidate them. I was actually trying to be of some help, but I get punished for everything around here. I feel like Im in grade school. Why do you have to be so damn rude Brian? I asked nicely if someone could please clean up my attachments so I can post new pics. The pics I have posted I no longer need. Then you bust out with what I want is irrelavent. Gosh man, you start so much ****. You gonna keep this grudge against me forever? Let it go man, damn.

Grudge he says? I have no grudge against you, nor anyone on this website (or at all, really). I just think you have a learning disability that prevents you from realizing that WE run this site, and YOU do not! I also fixed your issue with attachments by removing the storage limits -- so your original issue is SOLVED. But that isn't enough, you want to go on another deleting spree, and you can't. Bugs the **** out of you, doesn't it?

You can't follow simple directions, so you lose simple privileges. Its really that ... well.. simple But apparently some things just won't sink in. So are you trying to get the backing of someone to come to your "rescue"? Nine Ball told you never to PM him again. I don't want to hear from you. The mods don't want to hear from you. Who else do you have to cry to this time? Or wait, are you going to use the "it wasn't me, I'm sooooo sorry, it was my BROTHER !!!" excuse again?

Let me say this one more time -- I DO NOT CARE if you no longer have a need for something you posted or THINGS OTHER PEOPLE POSTED in a thread you started on this website, as IT IS NOT YOURS TO DELETE. You own precisely NOTHING on this website, and therefore are entitled to NO CONTROL over it. Just like when someone posted something in a transmission forum thread you didn't like, so you deleted it. There was a good sharing of technical information in there, but because YOU didn't feel you had a need for it, you delete the thread. What about all the other members that were participating in there, asking questions and receiving answers? Who are you to decide that those folks aren't entitled to have the thread continue, simply because you didn't like something somebody said? That is why we have MODERATORS, you contact them and they will make the decision. You've proven you cannot be trusted with that decision like the other 38,000 members can, so you lost the ability to delete.

If you think I'm rude, go ahead and cry some more. I have no problem being rude, when its warranted for the betterment of this website and this community. This isn't "Jeramy's Tech" last time I looked, I'm pretty sure it still says "LS1Tech" up there.

BTW, any bored individuals can look up the history for Jeramy ..

edit: more and more names being PM'ed to me

There's probably more names for this guy, and he thinks I'm the problem

Jeramy, you have no one to blame but yourself for the privileges you've lost on here. Yet you always play the poor innocent victim, blame others, claim your picked on, lie about posts being your brother posing as you, and create numerous usernames to hide behind. Don't you think its time to grow up and quit being a whiny little boy and realize that you're the one who has made your bed and to take accountability for YOUR actions and quit blaming others. Until you do that you're never going to "get it". I don't see how you can post on here without being embarrassed. You're the laughing stock of this board.
