What the Heck is Wrong with this Forum Three nights in a row, the board basically freezes up. Man this is frustrating when you have a dozen posts to respond to. If I was a vendor I would be throwing a fit. It might be time to add another server. Most the time now I just head to a different sit, as I won't deal with 5 to 10 minutes for a post to open.

I had issues a couple nites ago, but not today. Odd, as when I have issues many others do not, and when most others do, I don't.

It is almost torture trying to read this board anymore. Something is definitely wrong with it, and it's been going on for a few weeks now. And it's not just me, Everyone in the NW Section is thinking of hooking up on another board if this doesn't get fixed soon. We were all talking at the track last weekend and we are starting to think it might have something to do with the Videos...that's about when the slowness started...

We'd rather not have to resort to archiving to "fix" the problems, but if that's the only course of action we will. We like having all the posts online and searchable from the beginning of time, but MySQL doesn't handle searching 3 million posts very well

Im doing just fine right now... and im at work..
1mb line or something like that... maybe its a t1, though my home cable connection is 10x faster so it seems...

I have been on and off the forum all night, and she's running like a champ. had load times of 20+ seconds ONCE or TWICE out of probably 100+ page loads, so whatever you're doing, you're doing it right. thanks for your work guys.

EDIT: average load of my on time seems to revolve around 750-900 simultaneous users.
