whats up with my post count?
i dont know what my ACTUAL count is but this lack of post reporting is keeping me from attempting to sell a tuner i have, as well as just plain diminishing my "status" or "notoriety" on this site, if there is any way to fix this or if i am doing something wrong please help me rectify this problem. thanks.
Ron
how many times will people ask this same ****** question and NOT SEE THE GODDAMN STICKY.

Edit: What I meant was silly, is the fact that peeps come here JUST to get their post count up JUST for the purpose of posting something to sell. I don't think the post count requirement is silly at all & makes perfect sense to me...Apologies for the confusion-Amy

Seeing as how I am one of 2 Feedback moderators, I deal with people every day that get screwed on this website. It happens a HELL of a lot more often then is necessary. For some reason some people just can't be honest and list the item they are selling accurately, ship it in a reasonable time frame, and package it correctly.
However, when that member has been here for 2 years(or even a few months to get 50 technical posts) and has a bit of a reputation and a "stake" in this website, and would like to continue being a member, we have some leverage on them in bringing them to negotiating a resolution to situations.
If they could just sign up and that afternoon post up horseshit in a box and call them FAST intakes and camshafts and a set of headers.....hmm. I agree, some responsibility is on the buyer to ensure they are getting what they pay for, but we're taking an extra step to try and protect our members.
My only question is, you have almost 250 posts, whats the difference to you?
I recently got screwed on a transaction and i firmly believe that something had to be done. It wouldn't have helped me, but reading that damn sticky before i sent him the money would have. So moral to this is read the damn stickys!!!!
