650 with a cam swap? You'd have to contact Honda for a bottle of VTEC. Pour that all over the cam lobes as you do the swap and it'll make 700HP when the VTEC kicks in.

Yea, but I heard that you can't run VTEC if you have a tornado installed. I'd sure hate to give that thing up.

I heard that electric supercharger is worth like 200rwhp bolt-on. If that doesn't work....you can try the exhaust pipe turbo thingy. Should be worth at least 50rwhp. Either way....it'd be a damn shame to lose the tornado.

I heard adding Vinyl Stickers cant remove drag from the car so its almost like adding 90+ Hp to the car. So that plus a wing and some exhaust Turbo's and a tornado, I dont know many people who would even consider lining up next to you.

Not sure what your meaning is here...but okay, I'm loose. I really don't care to be a mod as I help people without a benefit, gain or title aquisition. If you guys feel better having a title, then great. I wanted to actually see the type of reaction I got...and I got what expected. Are people predictable...you betcha'!

I see a picture, relative to some people here, which reminds me of the local power company - 1 guy digging the ditch and 5 guys standing around watching.

John, I think your reply is exactly what Unit was talkin about....this entire thread has taken a turn towards hilarity and preposterous riceroni and you go on with the seriousness. Even I dropped that a while ago.

You're right....people ARE predictable Now go drink some beer!

No, you're not. You're pretentious and snobby. The people you're talking
down to (mods) have done a lot for this site and for the LS1 community
as a whole...more than you'll ever know.

The admins have gone so far above and beyond it's ridiculous.

Maybe we should change your name to SAINTJohn?

It's not that, well not for me anyhow.

I just like the way this site is run and what it offers and would like to offer/volunteer my services to help run the site I get a lot from.

After all it shouldn't be take take take, so I wanted to give something back.

Travis - I apologize but it's a little hard to not be serious when I'm working and have as much as I do on my plate. Do I take Unit serious when he posts about beer and vagina's ? I don't think so...I see from his posts he likes to joke around.

Unit - you are interpreting something it's not. Me snobby...don't think so and IF I am, then that's the pot calling the kettle black. I'm a decent person and I've followed your posts and think you're decent person. So, with you calling me those names, who is who? You can call me SAINT, you can call me SIR, just don't call me DADDY!

I am not speaking of the site, the site is great, it's some of the people that are lacking. You guys are sick of the redundant posts? How about some of you get off your duff and make an HTML page reminiscant of "LS1howto" so you don't SEE the redundant posts all the time. Nah, that would be too hard ...I would just rather sit, type and call people, whom I don't know, names while criticizing them. That is SO much easier.

However, during your day job or the job that makes you money and pays your bills, are you not repeatedly asked the same question or required to do the same task over and over and over? If you told a customer or a fellow co-worker to "go look it up in a dictionary" or "search for it on google" or "ask someone else"...even though you've been asked the same question possibly a dozen times by other customers or co-workers, is that the right thing to do? Probably not and you might receive a lower than average review from your boss.

So, in essence, we don't need mods? The search forum is here to help, guide and give answers? GREAT !

I know you fellas probably still don't see my view and never will but with my business, my friends and my code of conduct it is always the customer, friend, colleague that always comes first. If one of my customers have a question regarding their HP, Compaq, Gateway, IBM, or Toshiba computer...something that I've heard a million times, I don't tell them to go call the 1-800 number.

Edit: Here is a good example of work effort and the differences I speak of...

It took just as much effort to write this post:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....17&postcount=3

as it did this post:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....78&postcount=4

Which answer do I like better? It's not hard to pick. A big difference is being helpful, courteous and responsive to the user.

BTW, jrp is great w/ technical (I enjoy his write ups), he's just a search button addict/pusher.
sure, i could of given him the link like ACW did. i could also buy a plan ticket and fly to the guys house and wipe his *** for him. there is a general understanding here of helping people who geniunely need help. but i refuse to help people who are just ****** lazy and cant take intiative for themselves. we've got stickies in more then one forum on how to order ls1tech gear and tiffany has also posted how to obtain an ls1tech calander in more then one forum. all that was/is need to find the info that you cant see staring you in the face is to type "ls1tech calander" and you can find the answer yourself.

damn right it feels better having a title , its an honor to be selected out of the thousands of members to be an addition to the staff. i havent changed since becoming a mod; im still the same search **** (only now i have power to lock threads ), and still contribute too the site.

i guarentee your patients would run out if you spent an 1hr with one of your customers helping them with there PC problems and then they called back 20 times later on that same day asking the same question you just explained to them.

and i've done my part on being nice with newbs and people new to internet forums
