Yep, that is a lot... I think the cause-and-effect is reversed, though -- Brains turned off some stuff a few days ago to speed things up, and right away when the higher capacity became available, our numbers of concurrent online users started going up by several hundred, expanding to fill the new capacity

I'm with jrp I'm getting time out errors. I love this site but it does
have it's prblems I guess that come from being so big.

We're getting there. The jump from ~1500 peak users to ~2500 to 3000 peak users has been fun

We'll keep upgraded and tweaking until she runs like she should

 

Maybe bolt some headers & CAI on the servers and that will help

I'm amazed at the number of people that have been online lately... right now: Currently Active Users: 1399 (411 members and 988 guests) ! Who are all these guests and why aren't they members yet...

And to you guys for keeping this place up and running.. it runs smoother than some other forums I've been on that have 5-10k members!

I know a fix but I'm sure the mods wont like it, make all those bastards register the site would run so smooth due to the fact that they'd stop coming cause they are LAZY!!
