search problems

it only happens on this forum.

ill do a search. it searches. then says done at bottom left of page, and there is nothing on the page. ill reload and the same thing happens. wth is wrong?

Same here. Google Search is still working, but you have to be creative with your quotes and plus signs. Plus it includes words in peoples sigs.

wonder if there is a solution? i would almost think it is the amount of people on the board trying to search at one time, but it does it at random times. sometimes when there are only a few people on the board and sometimes when there are a ton of people on.

I am getting the same thing for search and to look up threads started by a particular user. This happens with both IE and Mozilla/Firefox.

Main search is temporarily disabled - the search database has fallen out of sync, and I need to do a full database push from the master server to re-enable it. Unfortunately this means taking the site offline for a period of time, which I'm currently scheduling time for.

Cool, at least I'm not the only one having a problem with this. I was just about to start a new topic on this subject, but there already was one. Any idea when the site will go offline to be fixed?

what about suscribed threads? i click subscribe and when i check back later, it says no subscribed threads. Also isn't it supposed to "auto subscribe" to any thread you start?
