Anyone LIKE something about the new software?
I know some folks may have been comfortable with .Classic, but we could not stay with that platform, we were already UBB's biggest .Classic user and they said we were well past the point of needing to switch to .Threads.
We will continue to revise the site and it's features over the next two weeks it will take some time.
Now for a suggestion.
If you're wondering how to fix the font issue, instead of setting an exact point size in your cascading style sheet set the font size to one of these:
xx-small | x-small | small | medium | large | x-large | xx-large
As shown here: http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/cs...font-size.html
This should allow the browser's font adjustment to work (the View->Text Size menu). I think that would help a lot of peoples issue with it being too small.

Keep giving us feedback, good or bad, we know that while some of you have posted negative things, deep down in your heart you know we try to keep the site as fast as possible... And I know some of you curmudgeons just fear any sort of change (John points finger at the user wearing a Members Only jacket).

I like the black background, always have likde forums with dark barkgrounds, its easier on my eyes.
The who's online feature is cool and the search is better.
I like not having the gremlains I think people get carried away with them anyway.
No complaints here.

On another note everyone mentions the speed is up, I havent noticed that at all. Hasnt been faster or slower here.

Just my 2 cents
It is a very cool feature, it makes things so much easier for us moderators since we know exactly how many posts were made since the last time we checked a topic. The more I play around with this new setup the more I like it. I suspect the same will happen with the rest of you guys too. It's like a new pair of underwear, at first they feel a little funny, but pretty soon they start to feel like home again.
again don't feel your work as went unnoticed.
