Please delete my account. I'm sick of getting asked "Why are you called DEMONBIRD if you drive a Camaro?" and "Why does your sig pic say 5LITEREATER/6LITEREATER?"...

I had my name changed to 6LITEREATER everywhere else (was 5LITEREATER since 1999 but that was taken when I came to this board) and (since I know you guys don't do name changes) just went ahead and registered a new account under 6LITEREATER.

I need this one deleted though to free up the e-mail address... Thanks.

Admin are the only ones to make a call on this, what I don't get is why its tying up your email addy. Just stop using the old account name.

you can free up your email by switching it to something else on your control panel.

 

Back in the day when I started this account I went through about 6 different names I normally used and they were all taken... So, out of frustration, and since I had a 1999 Trans-Am at the time, I went with DEMONBIRD because it was available.

 

Yeah, I did that. I created a new e-mail for this one, yada yada yada. Now it's more annoying because I am **** and have to keep checking a retarded e-mail I created (markdelisledemonbird@hotmail.com) to make the switch.

And before anyone says it NO, forgetting about that e-mail and/or just deleting the e-mail is not an option in my book because I don't want some other member to have posted a question about something I put in some other thread and not get a response from me because I did't get the e-mail that there was a reply to a post.

I've done my best to always answer EVERYONE's questions on here when I can and don't want someone to think I'm just being an *** and not responding...

Obviously I'd rather have the name switched so that it would all be easier but I respect that you guys don't do that anymore so am biting the bullet and starting over and just asking that you please delete this account.

We do not delete accounts here. Just stop using it please.

You can turn off PM/email ability so people cannot contact you through the old name. Maybe put in the signature of the old name that your new username is whatever.

 

My old name used to be FIREHAWK#608...

Luckily I changed it before the rule went into effect.

Tough choice, but my question is... why 6LITEREATER?

 

Ok, so here is the new option. Change your DEMONDBIRD signature to say "my new account is "asdfasdfsdaf". Please PM me there...."

THEN, if you can, forward all of your email from the new account you made for DEMONBIRD to the email you are using for everything else.

If you can't POP forward, sucks to be you.
