nah, just the he/she is just watching the thread.

Now if you are watching the thread and finding it entertaining (an argument for instance) then you use this one:

You can post it in a thread so its faster to find in your subscribed threads instead of marking them in the drop down tool menu.

It does tend to clutter a thread though FWIW.

Yeah, it took me a few months of being on here before I figured that out.

People using it to subscribe to a thread need a clue... Click on "Thread tools" at the top of the thread, and subscribe without making a mess!

Well I hope I am not cluttering up the thread but I mostly in threads and post occasionally.

However what I really posted for was to thank Brains for the heads up on how to subscribe without cluttering up a thread. Also in the same Thread Tools drop down menu you can email the thread to a friend; I am guessing both a member and non member. Correct me if I am wrong.

I also guess that people noticing that are about like people reading stickies.

I am not gonna lie I do try to read the stickies; however if I have a question I try searching, either through the sites search or my own that is slower. Although I have found other, sometimes more interesting info out that way too.

It's for lurkers who are post ******.

If you have nothing to add and just want to read, then just use the subscribe tool.

Stuff like that is the reason you often see someone with 1000+ posts who hasn't a clue what they are talking about.
