Default LS1tech Firefox plugin?

Mozilla firefox is becoming more and more widespread and many online organizations seem to be taking advantage of that. I personally have plugins for google, imageshack, paypal, FTP clients, etc that I can easily use within the browser while viewing other webpages.

From what I understand, firefox programming is readily available to create your own plugins and I think tech should incorporate something. Maybe some sort of plugin where you are notified of PMs, send PMs in a little window within your browser, Reply notifications, etc etc. There would be many different options to design and I think would be a great idea to start.

He's talking about someone building a plug-in for LS1Tech, so that you get PM notifications, subscription notifications, etc all through Firefox, whether you have a tab opened on LS1Tech or not.

Great Idea! I personally want a widget for Windows Vista. It could have recent threads/posts and pm's. I'm gonna learn how to make it and just do it.

Brian, I'll keep you updated.

Both a widget and a plugin would be great!

What exactly do these plugins do and where do you get them? I use Firefox but haven't really gotten to know it well.

Not to be rude, but Google or Firefox.com should be able to answer your question.

Even easier than that, click tools>add-ons and from there you can browse and add things. I personally use script blocker, a must IMO and weather at the bottom. Oh and the download plug in is great too, places a % bar on the bottom.

Oh yeah I have the weather (huge must) and a little iTunes plug in to play from firefox.

I just figured it'd be a good and relatively easy idea for ls1tech to jump on

Yessuh, I was just replying to redrocket how he could browse the plugins.

But yeah I agree, it'd probably even snag a few extra members honestly. People with LS1's that don't know about tech....Then again probably anyone that knows that "big ol' 350 v8" in there car is called an LS1, probably knows about tech lol.
