No, we'd prefer you do not do that.

BTW, your sig is in violation of the rules.

The violated rule is:
Up to 8 single-spaced lines of text (no image)
-or-
An image no larger than 500w X 150h and up to 3 single-spaced lines of text

You have too many lines of text.
(Blank Lines & Quotes count)

I'll consider this a "sig test" warning instead of giving you an infraction right away.

Wow, I hadn't realized that this specific reply was here warning me about my sig. In the future, please send me an IM regarding such matters so that the message will be ensured to reach me. Thanks.

We don't normally give warnings for sig violations.
We normally just give an infraction.
Its only worth 1 point and expires in 10 days so its a minor infraction.

Since you were asking a question about whether or not something is allowed, I decided to give a warning instead of just going straight to an infraction.

When you didn't change your sig, I proceeded to the normal course of action which is an infraction.

I mean no offense and don't mean to sound like an ***. I'm just explaining the situation.

Oh, I didn't take offense at all, but I just didn't visit the page for further posts. I simply wish that I had and seen your warning. That is all. Anyway, I took out those text lines and you can put the sig back up...or you don't......it doesn't matter too much to me. LOL. I'm not sure exactly how this works.

I suppose that your sig is perfect now. It follows exactly the requirements.

***SIG EDITED!!! 8 SINGLE-SPACED LINES OF TEXT --OR-- 500W x 150H PIC & 3 SINGLE-SPACED LINES OF TEXT IS THE MAX!!!***

Basically, your picture is exactly 500 in width and 150 in height with exactly 3 lines of text. So, your sig is just right now.

You can put your sig back yourself as long as what you put fits within the rules.

There are over 100,000 members and its difficult to keep track of who did what. The infraction system has been around for some months now and it helps us keep track of rule violations and repeat offenders. After a certain number of points (I don't know the number) or depending on the number or type of infraction a temporary or permanent ban can result. Extreme violations or spam can result in permanent ban.

A signature violation is a minor infraction. Its only worth 1 point and expires in 10 days. 3 or more signature infractions in a short period of time may result in a 3-day "vacation". I think that is the discretion of the one issuing the infraction though.

If you get over 10,000 points, you get banned forever. If you get 10 infractions total, you get a 7 day vacation.

Read the guidelines, read the stickies, follow the rules, and you won't get an infraction. Pretty simple really.
