Posting this from my BlackBerry Pearl right now.

It would definitely be better if all pics were turned off so they wouldn't load.

Brains, where on the site do we see whats in the works?
edit: Nevermind, i just searched the forum, and they said maybe in the next major release of the software (4.x.x).. but they did suggest:

so couldn't there be a new Ls1tech skin made without so many graphics? and just call that the mobile version now? or make it with smaller graphics? Or is that not something that can be changed when you make a new skin (i wasnt sure if you could only change colors (Old school LS1tech skin vs Darkside or B/W)

heres a long thread about it: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ghlight=mobile

The best way to currently do that is in your profile -- turn off sigs and such. Hacking up the templates is not in the cards for now, we're pretty focused on adding some other features

There's a handful of things that are core to how vBulletin operates, that aren't mobile phone friendly -- drop down menus and such. I had to lock a thread one night from my phone, and it was a total pain in the rump. Simple browsing and posting isn't too bad now though, especially with signatures turned off.

Does anyone ever have trouble with the phone locking up using mini Opera? I mostly use IE, but the Opera does make browing this forum a little quicker. (HTC Mogul)

Well there are sites running vbulletin that have mini versions set to run on mobile platforms. I figured IB would be able to give a definitive answer on whether or not LS1tech would be moving to add this feature.

Take a look at http://wap.howardforums.com on your phone to get an idea of what vbulletin looks like on a mini browser. It might ask you to log in, if it does, you won't be able to see the site running 'mini' unless you sign up. It seems as if they use a browser detector and redirect to an automatically formated version of the site. It's definitely sleek as hell and worth while, especially considering that people are getting more into mobile browsing.

Samsung i760 + Esmertec Jbed + Opera Mini 4. Loads LS1Tech like a champ. I browse it all the time. Mini works great. Opera Mobile not so good. Make sure to use Mini.

I keep trying to visit **** sites on my mobile with the pictures turned off. Doesn't work quite as well. Probably a good thing, though. I have enough trouble talking, shifting, and steering at once as I drive around town window peeping.

P0, please stay on topic. Comments like that are not allowed or appreciated, especially considering you are a mod.

Back on topic, P0 is homosexual as evidenced by his sig pic.

Just wondering does anyone on this board use, or familiar with the new Treo by Verizon.
If so how is the internet on it, such as viewing ls1tech.
Thanks in advance for any feedback
