I can't get a lot of formats of images to work. I used to have the same animated gif. I think animated gif avatars have been disabled. When I click user cp it says I don't have an avatar, but I still get Beaflag VonRathburg's Avatar under my title.

Not sure but the new version we have may be cutting animated avatars for bandwith - just like sig lines.
If Brains has time he will post up.

I just changed yours to an LS1TECH supplied .gif Avatar and you can see it works.

What .gif were you trying to use? Can you post it up in this thread? I'll try to help and see whats wrong.

Peace,
Craig.

I can't get it to work for the life of me. It worked before hence the address. I copied it over to all the other sites I'm on that allow animated gif avatars.

Yeah. I got it fixed. You people wouldn't understand how, so I won't even explain it. Should be good to go for a while 'till something else crops up that I have to fix. Gah.

And here Brains gets all the credit...

Since there's already a thread on this I might as well ask my question in here. How do you resize a pic to put in the avatar? I had a couple of pics in mind that I wanted to try out.

You can do it in paint or use myimager.com . Just opent the image in paint. Then click stretch / skew. Then you have the options of shriking the image both horizontally and vertically.
