same issue here, i can't load the site in IE6 or Maxthon, but it works fine in Firefox.
only problem is, i'm at work, and the version of Firefox on the machine is an older version, and not very secure because it hasn't been updated in a loooong time, if ever.
and Firefox is not one of our IT group's concerns at this point, as some of the apps we use don't run very well (or at all) in FF, so they focus on IE.

It's definitely an IE thing. With IE6 on my work PC, I get:
And then IE goes to "this page cannot be displayed".
I tried adding revsci.net, revsci.com, and ibpxl.com to the "restricted sites", and sometimes I was able to browse, but sometimes I wasn't. Weird.
Firefox has not had a single issue.

Still locks up IE7 for me.
If I add www.ls1tech.com to Restricted Sites in IE7, it no longer locks up. Although it also won't keep me logged in for more than 1 click either when the site is Restricted.
I then tried disabling Scripting in IE: Internet Options->Security tab, Custom level button, Scripting section, Active Scripting = Disable. I can get on the site fine with Active Scripting disabled, although a few things like the forum tools button work differently without javascript.

Got ya. I just wanted to see from and IT perspective. I'm a Systems Admin at a local company but this appears to be a site related issue more than what people have in common. I see it all the time where a slew of folks get an update and it jacks with things. A co-workers tv tuner had always worked perfectly until he installed Sp3 on his machine the other day. Now it completely fails.

Yep IE is getting locked for me too, had to search an old harddrive for an ancient copy of Netscape to get Ls1tech to work... I needed a Tech fix!
I am running IE 7.0.5730.11 On XP Professional with about 2GB of memory, and it is locking up trying to download something from a site I don't recognize: .http://pix04.revsci.net/C05505/b3/0/3/0805050/...

I don't like to be preechy, but EVERYBODY running a PC should be using a custom HOSTS file explained here.
Its a manual ad blocker that doesnt use any add on spyware blocker gadgetry, almost a hack if you will but not quite.
Potential downfall for LS1techers is some sponsor ads may be blocked but it will protect you from ALOT of "annoying" stuff out there.
p.s. my IE works fine because of it, I checked and "pix04.revsci.net" is in there.
So it can't even communicate and givs up.
Why firefox works WITHOUT the hosts hack I can't explain, it may have more anti-ad functionality built in.
Just an FYI.

Yup, it works.
Broke without it.
Installed hosts file, cleared IE cache/cookies etc.
Reboot.
Now IE Works
pix04.revsci.net is bad mmmmkay.
This was on a brand new XPSP2 build BTW, ls1tech was literally the first site it browsed to in IE.
