I just noticed that, looks like a pretty damn good alternative to googlegate. I like it.

i think the way he is doing it is going to be using curent sponsors but in sections that they would belong in so that our main sponsor list is shorter

I'm pretty sure the sponsors have to pay extra for that option.

Eh, On another message board I go to, every specific forum section is like that ....and IMO, it just makes it look cluttered and ugly...

^ But I'ver seen some where the ads are between each post in a thread. THAT is ***.
Ads are a neccessary evil like on TV. If someone don't pay, we don't play.
At least here they try to keep it neat and the ads are all car related and stuff we buy.

Kind of common sense here, but it will be seen by more eyes, which makes it worth more money.

Who ******* cares? It's out of the way. Doesn't cause any problems. It's just there. Big deal.

Complain when needed (i.e. Google or, God forbid, pop-ups). Otherwise, quit whining.

I swear. You can't do anything without complainers.

Brains: Good job with the ad placement. Thanks for making it out of the way while still making it visible, which, of course, we realize is necessary. The Google thing was a mistake, which everyone makes. We're glad you recognised that and canged it promptly. We realize ads are needed to keep this free site going, and this is the direction we want you to go. Keep up the good work.

OPINIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!

haha
I won't be clicking on those ads anyways, because it has the double click thing enabled. I've been trying to be careful about what I click around here lately.

Yeah, but how would you like to work your *** off on something, then just hear someone say, "that sucks." No, you weren't really bitching big time and maybe I was a bit hard on you, but why get on here are and spread non-constructive negativity? They are doing the right thing, as opposed to the wrong thing. Cut them some slack. then, when you really have a legit gripe (Google) and you voice it, it will mean more. Brains isn't a computer. He's a real person whose working on our free site.

And, I know you're all going to say that I'm only defending him because I feel guilty about my late-night "visits" with his girlfriend, but that's my stand. (And, by the way, Tiffany, I'm free Friday night.)

9/10 people will bitch. 1/10 will thank you. You fell into the former. That's all I'm going to say about it so you can have a free reply.

I think it makes the website look kinda tacky. Maybe they could pay to be kept at the top of the list instead of getting mixed up every time it refreshes?
