Default how do I close a thread?

1. How do I close a thread?
2. Where could I find this information without creating a new thread. I tried the search but found nothing. maybe, just maybe, I suck at "search".

To close a thread click on the "thread tools" drop down menu. It's in the upper right corner of the thread.

Only issue I do believe is that only members tenured to a "Moderator" position has the power to close a thread.

(Honestly not sure if a registered user has that power.)

That is what I thought. Thank you for the confirmation.

To the OP, if you wish to have a thread closed, just PM one of the moderators of the section you are in.

Thanks!
