Been having lots of local interest in the car, so at least I know my asking price is fair considering there's still room to negotiate. Just waiting for someone with the funds to come though, this economy isn't helping...

This car has a lot to offer compared to newer cars of the same caliber. Here are few examples I could think of:

* A newer vehicle is going to depreciate significantly, while this car is going to maintain if not increase in value (if taken care of).

* Insurance for this car is much cheaper than a newer car providing the same performance and appeal.

* Fuel economy is excellent averaging 22-24 mpg city and 27-29 mpg hwy (not bad for a high 11s / low 12s car).

Willing to entertain offers as long as they're not low *****. Found a town house I'm interested in and would like to make a move as long as it's still available. I figure I will be more ahead by taking a little more of a loss on this car and moving on.

Thanks for your concern, the alignment is set at the stock recommendation of 1 to 1.5 degrees of negative camber. Considering there are about 2k miles since the completion of the build, I think the tires are still ok

Thumbs up

Hi, I was browsing the FS and searched "RX7" and this Thread was a result. I was actually just curious to see what LS1 RX-7 are going for right now. I have the intention of building one myself, but on the advice of a buddy, I thought I'd check out the going prices of an already completed project. I am actually looking for an FC, but felt inclined to comment on how beautiful your car is. I truly hope you find a Collector or at least someone with that kind of money, lol Even if I had $30K, your car would not look nearly as immaculate in my possession, as I am building with the intention of beating LOL! It would just be abused lol Again, I hope you find a buyer. Regards

It's funny that you say that, because I originally wanted to "build on a budget" and just have a nice daily driver. Once I got into it, I started buying all new parts, the best engine/trans combo I could find at the time and went crazy with the details because I had the mine set "while I'm here I might as well do it right".

This is the first time I have saved every receipt while building a car, just to see what I would have in it all said and done. I added all the receipts, and they totaled more than my asking price. I was shocked because I thought I had about 22 to 24k in it.

I would def suggest buying someones car unless you just want to be able to say you built it yourself. Other wise you will save money and lot's of time waiting for parts, research, and work. Good luck on your search

I've had a few pm's about my price and how negotiable I am. Here is another option for those interested, but would like to get in this car a little cheaper.

With the original wheels/ tires and struts on the car along with a 4 wheel alignment I can do 28k obo. I would need a deposit before doing all this. If the car is purchased as is, I will include the original wheels/tires and struts with the sale along with any other parts I have for the car.

This may be a good option for most since it's easy to add coilovers and different wheels/tires later when the extra funds are available. Of course I would rather sell the car as is, so I don' t have to worry about selling parts. I'm just trying to throw some options around.
