Default Bump it up looking for trade offers

TTT.... for the weekend. Surely somebody want to make a reasonable trade and still have an inexpensive, sharp fast toy.

Default Response to R/P steering

Thanks for the compliment, just wish I could find a good home for her. Should probably just part it out and I'd end up with more money. Just hate to do that.

The rack-n-pinion works pretty well. Saves some space for intercooler lines, less weight.. I don't think I would install it if there were no super charger. I'm an 'ole school guy.

Thanks,
Robby

You should have no problem selling this there is a lot of nice mods on that thing. I would hold out a bit longer people who know third gens should respect this original 305 an all pretty nasty.

Default reply to Flyin

Thanks Flyin'... Installed a new Granetelli MAS, cleaned the IAC, adjusted the TPS. It should run even faster and hopefully the idle fluctuation will be gone too. Tongiht my little girl comes over and we'll all do the family thing together. Tomorrow rain and movies. I will be starting on the trans later. Went to the trans shop and borrowed the special tool to replace the tail housing bushing. So after that, I've got to find someone with a programmer to reset/recal everything or at least verify everything is good. Also pick up a new gear for speedo to match the 373 rear. Then, decide if I want to go ahead and put on the new injectors and retune/dyno it. If I do all that I'll put the price back up to $9000 and if it doesn't sell or I don't get a good trade.. no harm, no foul. There's more than 8 grand worth of goodies someone could just pull off the car that are all pretty much new. I guess there's not even 500 miles on the rebuild. Good luck in your search.

Well she's under the knife so to say. Dropped the tranny tail housing, installing new bushings, new speedo gears to match 373 rear, cleaned the entire bottom and shined up all the Spohn and BMR racing chassis components. Changing all the fluids. Recalibrating the electronics(new Grannitelli MAF $300, cleaned IAC, reset IPS voltage.. Will be interesting to see how she performs after I complete this. Hopefully by the end of this week. Will probably start doing some more tuning by adding the bigger injectors and 12lb boost pulley. Also have some new underdrive pulley, that i'll put opn then too. Good chance the for sale option will go go away.

Hello, I just have to tell you I have been watching this car since you first posted it for sale. Im so in love with it as I have been through my share of third gens and totally fall for any clean birds and Z's. I have to say I call even my friends 23,000mile family owned 91Z L98 and black on grey leather package a turd gen lol. Its just something we grew up calling these cars as they were our parents cars now ours, all of my friends our 28-30 years old so we grew up as kids and teenagers in the back of these third gens.

If I had the extra cash I would take it off you, regret putting all of my cash into a shitty 4th gen when I could have picked this car up from you. I love that its a 305 also as its just so common to yank the 305's for bigger brother 350's and dime a dozen beat ones around here.

Anyone that knows anything about third gens will realize you cant touch one that clean even bone stock for under that price, good luck with the family and sale!!!
