I just had the 3.73 gearset put in last week. The 3.42 broke on me as I pulled out and stomped on it in 1st gear. With exception of the gears last week, the car has been stone reliable, no problems whatsoever. Has cold a/c. The paint is in excellent, excellent condition. Very few rock chips. The interior has also been well kept. I spent $3,470 with RPM Transmissions last December at 43,000 miles. See the last photo for the invoice. I bought a Level IV 4L60E from RPM Transmissions, along with the custom converter from Coan and had RPM install it. While I was there, I had Mike Norris Motorsports tune the car. There was nothing wrong with the stock transmission, I just wanted a stronger unit to compliment the converter. The converter locks at 27mph in Drive and 37mph in Overdrive, making the converter extremely streetable and the slip easily avoidable if you desire. So far, the trans has been up to 165*. It usually runs 150* or so, sometimes will hit 165* in traffic, so it runs plent cool.
Flaws:
There is one noticeable door ding, it is above the driver's side rear tire, I have taken a photo of it. There is the slightest ding just forward of it, but I would have to point it out to you for you to notice it, it is that slight. The driver's side seat has a small tear in it. An upholsterer can make it a quick fix, I just have not had the time to handle it.
Selling to buy my old S-10 back and go about things on the cheap for a while. Will re-visit the car thing later on, after I handle a few things.
Nothing wrong with the car, would drive it cross country in a heartbeat.
$10,500. No trades. Willing to pick you up at the Indianapolis Airport if needed.
