Default 1998 WS6 with Forged 347, TC78 turbo kit, and built T56. (needs minor repairs)

Year: 1998
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $12000
Mileage: 39000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I'm looking to put a larger motor in the 2002 I just bought and get the 1998 out of my garage.
The car is a 1998 Trans Am WS6
It has ~39,000 original miles, and only 5,782 on the motor, trans, and turbo kit. ~2,000 on the fuel system. I have a clean, clear title in my hand for it.
There are no seats in the car. I can move my ebony ones from my 2002 over (front/rear) for $500 extra.
The old 76mm setup made 660rwhp @ 13.5psi.
The new ported TC78 turbo along with the motor and trans should be good for 1,000rwhp if tuned correctly.
It has a Wolfe 6pt cage in it, welded in. as well as SFC's. car is very rigid and launches well.
Stock 10 bolt rear end<the weak link of the setup. I haven't launched from a dig on this.

What the car needs is the front end re-done.
It was hit in the drivers headlight, causing damage to the headlight, hood, bumper cover, and front part of the frame rails. The tip of the frame rails is 2" to the right. Also needs the turbo kit put back on. I removed it to swap turbos. It won't take long, I can do that for you.

After pricing all this out, It will be about $2,500 to fix.
I went ahead and bought a 2002 WS6 instead, as I got a deal I could not pass up on it.

The frame shop said a mere $400 to straighten everything out, and I've found all the parts for $1,000 to replace what is needed. The rest is paint and labor.

The motor is a forged 347 w/9:1 CR using 72cc heads.
Ross Racing pistons
Forged H Beam Rods
New Stock Crank
ARP Fasteners and head studs
6.0 Heads w/1218 springs
custom turbo cam from RPM
underdrive pulley
upgraded timing set and LS6 oil pump
For complete asking price, a vic jr setup will be left on.
The motor has 5,782 miles on it since built. I still get 27mpg on the highway with this kit. GREAT pre-boost power.

Custom built front-mount turbo setup
6.0 manifolds turned backwards, heat shields still on.
Eboost 2 Boost Management System w/40mm pro-gate
Brand New, Never ran Turbonetics TC78 turbo w/ported compressor cover
downpipe that fits in between motor mounts and chassis
TiAL 50mm blow off valve
Autometer UltraLite boost gauge
Autometer Ultralite Oil Pressure gauge with sender (mounts on turbo oil feed)
HTS red couplers w/T bands
FMIC with a ding at the bottom from a parking curb ( I was lowered too much and had to raise it)
oil feed lines
All piping/things from my car to go on yours besides PCM
Freshly wrapped also.

Kit minus this turbo has 5,782 miles on it. The turbo is brand spanking new. Never ran, only mocked up.

The kit on the previous 76mm turbo made 660rwhp through an M6/10 @ 13.5# of boost using STOCK 6.0 heads and stock ls6 intake. P/P'd heads and a new intake would add a LOT of power!!
With 18psi, it should be almost 780-800rwhp.

I do NOT have dyno sheets, never got them and personally didn't care for them. The car flat out walked away from 600cc gsxr/R6's and nosed 750cc bikes. I have people who can vouch for it.

The trans is a fully built T56 with a Ram stage 3 (700+hp) clutch with the same amount of miles on it. It is a stage 3 T56 from RPM. It drives SO nicely, the shifts are like butter, and it feels like a completely different transmission than a stocker.

Fuel system is a twin walbro 255lph in-tank setup through 3/8 lines 9feed and return) with an aeromotive FPR in the engine bay.
I will also throw in the fuel pressure gauges, oil gauges, coolant gauges, etc that were in the car.

Seriously interested parties, PM me for pics. I will email them to you.

Asking price is $12,000. There is this much in the motor, trans, turbo kit, and cage alone.
NOTE: even with the damage, the title is still a 100% clean and clear blue texas title. No salvage, no damages, no brandishing, and no liens are on the title.

Stock clean 39k mile cars sell all day for $16,000... why not get one with lots of goodies included for less?
