Yeah no kidding.
I'm just thinking about keeping the car if I can't find a buyer. It's pretty rare to see a clean 4th gen SS, and I don't think people understand how much money it takes to build an engine like this.

bump for ya bud. i know first hand what it takes on these things man,im with ya.3 yrs ago i put a twin turbo set up on a fully forged 402.i bought the car for 16k with built tranny rear end suspention and the nasty 402.made 525 rwhp.i decided to dump another 15k into it with the turbos and fabbing and freshening up the motor with deep dish pistons.all said and done the tune was **** and there was a ton of heat issues under the hood.(MADE 1008 ON 16PS1)i sold it for 22k and countyed my losses.itwas a 98 with 50k on it and mint.also put in a dedenbear glide for 3500.i think people feel they can find a 15k car clean low milage and built all around is all. they are out there and they sell quik.so alot of folks just sit back and wait/shop ya know. ss or z28.doesnt matter to most.i would think the (ss value)takes a big dive once modded out though. still an honest price.ill ttyl man.....

Nice car, good price. I wish I wouldnt have bought my last year. :-( Unless I missed something bad about the, people should be all over that. If people look around for a low milage car with a stock engine and then build it they would spend way more
