a Magic Stick 4 with a F1 procharger??? How is the cam installed??? the magicstick 4 is a 239/242 duration favoring the intake lift with a .649/.609 with the highest avaliable LSA of a 112. This would give you an overlap of +8 if installed striaght up. (Not ideal for boost AT ALL)
Not bashing just wondering how your making this work and why did you leave the MS4 in and go with a F1C??? Any head mods? what is your SCR (ie 10.9-10.6:1)

Sorry, im not looking for any trades.
No worries, i can understand why your wondering. It's straight up. Just b/c it isn't ideal for boost doesn't mean it wont work. Are there more efficient cams? Yes. Would a blower specific cam make more power with this application? Sure, but i already had the MS4 installed prior to the F1C, i definitely don't need more power from it right now, and the car still drives awesome. I drive it daily as long as its not raining. The heads have never been off the car. Stock compression.
~6lbs of boost, heres a graph with pre & post restrictor plate numbers

Ok, did you have plans for going forged with better heads and different cam?? Just wondering why the F1 I guess?? A p1SC or D1sc wouldve been more cost effective.
A +8 overlap just seems INSANE to me and I couldnt even imagine how this was even possible. What were your numbers with just the MS4 and boltons??
Whats the deal with the restrictor plate??? Ive never heard of such a thing on a LSx motor. It also looks like the Restrictor plate off tune was VERY Rich (or is it just me)

When i bought the car i didn't even plan on boosting it. The F1C came up for sale used locally, and i just couldnt pass it up. I was actually going to swap the forged 347 from my '68 into the Z and throw in a mild blower cam but i never had the time. The MS4 made 450/400.
The pre restrictor plate tune was very rich. Without the restrictor plate in we couldn't get the numbers under 700 safely.

Honestly i haven't looked into it just because i haven't been home long enough to have someone look at it. From everything i have found online it should just be the syncro that needs replacing.
