Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AZ
Color: Red

Excelsior Motorsports built 383 with forged Arias pistons, Eagle crank and Eagle H-beam rods. Motor has approximately 13000 miles on it. Rebuilt in 2007.
Camshaft: Comp Cams 224/224 .581 lift (small for a 383 but needed to pass CA emissions at the time.)
Heads: AFR 205 milled to 64cc

Car has never been tracked/raced. Been a weekend car since I bought it in 2002 (second owner). Always garaged.
As far as the nitrous, only used 3 times since the motor was rebuilt in 2007. All 3 times were on the dyno. Only used 100 octane gas since rebuild. Re-tuned for 91 pump gas this past March.
Paint is in great shape. Finish is smooth. Used Zaino since 2002.
Located in Phoenix area.

About 410 rwhp, 417 rwtq on motor. On the bottle 580 rwhp, 645 rwtq.
According to my builder the NA numbers are about 10-15 hp low due to piston ring gapping. Apparently the ring gap is looser when building a nitrous motor.

Looking at buying an Infiniti M45 in the near future. Over the last couple of years I've been getting away from the muscle car scene. My priorities are changing the older I get and with a family (and 2 year old) the Camaro just isn't fitting into my future plans.
Believe me, I will miss this car as I have almost treated it like family for the last 8 years. It was one hell of a grocery getter, thats for sure . It's just time to move on to better things.

Bump for a Great deal!...I know the builder's reputation of the car here in San Diego...He is known for being very meticulous and thorough (not cheap either..lol)...I am sure this Camaro is built right!
