Street ability is great drives and idles great in stop and go traffic. Gas mileage on highway is about 20 mpg. No ac, but heat works great. I have not dynoed or raced the car with the current motor. I've barely driven it because of a change of hobby. Only reason I'm selling is because I don't ever drive it and am tired of paying insurance on a car I don't even drive. Also I have an every day car so I don't want to trade it because I don't want another vehicle at this time.

I raced for 2 whole seasons racing at least twice a month on the old setup. I knew it wouldn't last forever and the third season I bumped up the nitrous to a 200 shot and melted a hole in number one piston.

I wanted to go a different route on the new setup and decided to build a low compression motor for boost. Compression is 9.25 to 1 The motor was built by a local guy with alot of experience with ls1's turbo buicks and mustangs. I had planned to finish the project with either a pro charger of a turbo the next year, but decided to get out of drag racing. I'm more interested in projects around the house and my other hobbies now. I'm perfectly happy driving my grand am everyday...lol...guess I'm getting old.

I don't see the gamble??? I'm asking $15,000 I don't suspect you can get a stock gto with the same mileage and condition for much cheaper??? So the gamble is...spend a few more 1000 on a car with over $20,000 in mods. The motor is barely broken in carries good oil pressure and doesn't smoke at all. Car has not been raced or dynoed with the new motor. It has a street tune so it is safe to drive and has great streetability. If you had it dyno tuned you could probably squeeze a little more power out of it.

Lowest price is $15,000 I will no longer answer pm's from people giving me lowball offers. Car has an engine that would take over $10,000 to duplicate and it is barely broken in with about 3000 miles on it. It also has over $5,000 in drivetrain parts to make sure it is reliable without worrying about issues with broken parts.

Bump for the day...I will ignore pm's that use the economy as an excuse as to why I should accept a rediculously low price. I'm working 50 hours a week so no problem with the economy on my end.

I looked up the book value for this car with 43,000 miles and no air conditioning. It was $14,200 and I'm asking $15,000 for a car with a new motor with only 3000 miles on it. Also that doesn't factor in the $20,000+ in mods this car has on it.

Here is a link to the book value:

I was just making an offer..You say "asking"..if you are firm on the 15,000 then I would say "firm" and remove the "asking" from your sale price

Lol...you have a good point, but after you made your offer of $13,500 which is lower than book value of a stock gto. I said $15,000 was as low as I could go. Then you said well since you have cash and the economy is bad...as if I have to take what you offer me because the economy is bad. There is a difference between making reasonable offers and insulting someone.

Go buy your zo6 that you were bragging about.

Everyone else on the forum I apologize for sounding like a dick, but no one likes being insulted.
