For sale is an 85 Chevy M1009 CUCV K5 Blazer it has only 31,xxx miles on it and you can really tell, this is my daily driver and i wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere, truck drives great. belonged to an officer while in military service so everything was always maintained and serviced. The army serviced it in 07 before it left the base which included new rear tailgate, new inner fenders, all new brakes (rotors calipers etc), new brake lines, new parking brake cables, new throttle cable, all fluids changed and greased, oil changed every 5,000 with Rotella. Truck has a J code 6.2 diesel with turbo 400 tranny and NP 208 transfer case and 3.08 gears and gov-locker in the rear. Military rated these trucks as 3/4 ton trucks has heavy duty springs. it has 33x12.5 BFG mud terrains on it and i also have a set of 33x12.5 Michelin all seasons too that will go with it. truck really does run and drive great, i use it as my daily driver and have never had a problem, as soon as the glowplug light goes of starts right up with a blip of the starter. the only bad thing about this truck is it has the typical classic body chevy rust on the rockers, however i do have new sheet metal for these rust spots that will also go with the truck but other then that the truck is very solid, frame shows no signs of rust or rot. Truck does very well off road as well as on road, ive had it at rausch creek in april and i was surprised to see how capable it is off road. im asking $4500 OBO. Forgot to mention that the heater core went, it will need to be replaced, cost $30 from napa haven't gotten around to it because heat is the last thing im thinking about in the summer. But i have it bypassed right now so the truck can be driven without coolant leaking everywhere, works fine.
