Is it really a rebuilt title? That makes it worth less than 6k, especially for a roller. I'd go lower if you want

If it really is a Salvage car....It's a 3k car as it sits, 6k running.

I really hope it not though, that should have been disclosed in the opening thread. Not saying your trying to sneak by junk, but salvage cars are junk and not safe.

I would possibly be interested in it, but the whole title thing scares me. I also live in Florida, so please clarify the situation.

THANKS JASON

interested in your car if its still available, but first i want to double check and confirm a few things.

1. only thing missing is motor and tranny... right?
2. wire harness for a 6 speed car is included?
3. title is clear?
4. how does the exterior and interior look, and rips tears, dents or scratchs, paint fading of any sort?

also has the car ever been wrecked?

you can PM me or e mail me at kryptonitepwr@yahoo.com and ill get you my number when i hear from you.

my name is Fotis Yarufalie

last of all just out of curiosity why is the motor and tranny out of the car?

Default Mods, if inappropriate, please remove.

I privately informed the seller after the report was ran that the car had a rebuilt title. I asked him to disclose the information. He told me he was just going to keep the car, so I didn't bother posting. The seller then began to try and sell the car again without disclosing the info about the title. That's when I mentioned publicly that the car has a rebuilt title. Since the seller still does not acknowledge the fact it is rebuilt, here is the full report. I'm not saying the car isn't worth what he is asking, I just think people should know about the title before they purchase.

This Vehicle's Glossary
Below are the specific definitions for events that appear in this vehicle's report.
More information is available in the full AutoCheck glossary.

Term Section Location Definition
Rebuilt/Rebuildable Title and ProblemCheck The vehicle was a salvaged vehicle that was refurbished with new or used parts. An affidavit of repair from the rebuilder or individual making the repairs, stating what repairs were made to the vehicle and that the vehicle is now rebuilt and road operable, may be required to obtain a rebuilt/rebuildable title. These vehicles must also pass a state safety inspection before being allowed back on the road.
Salvage Title and ProblemCheck A salvage vehicle is a vehicle that has been wrecked or damaged beyond repair; declared a total loss by the insurer; or declared a total loss by reason of theft. When an insurance company as a result of a total loss settlement acquires a vehicle, the insurance company must apply for a Salvage Certificate. If the owner retains possession of a salvage vehicle, the owner must obtain a Salvage Certificate before receiving a total loss statement from the insurance company.
Junk Title and ProblemCheck The vehicle’s parts have been salvaged for reuse and the remainder of the vehicle has been destroyed or scrapped. This vehicle has been declared a total loss, is not road worthy and should not be titled again for use on the road.
Loan/Lien Vehicle Use and EventCheck A loan/lien is the legal right to take and hold or sell the vehicle of a debtor as security or payment for a debt. Normally, a vehicle will have a lien due to a loan or unpaid repair bill against the vehicle. Check with the seller to ensure that the lien has been satisfied.
Accident or Vehicle Damage Vehicle Use and EventCheck Reported accidents or damage events are a result of vehicle collisions or other non-collision incidents such as vandalism or theft. Not all accidents or damage events are reported to AutoCheck. Certain accident or damage events are reported by the source to have resulted in minor, moderate or severe damage to the vehicle, or the events are calculated by AutoCheck to have resulted in minor, moderate or severe damage based on the information reported. It is recommended to have pre-owned vehicles inspected by a third party prior to purchase.

Buyback Protection Terms and Conditions

I bought this car with a clean title and I have a clean title. The car showes no damage at all and I have looked and looked after you told me this. And I still don't see any damage or signs of painting. My k member and my strut bar went on with out any problems so if there is front end damage this would have not been possible. Seeing the car fax that you posted looks like someone had a friend in the insurance industry and just cut a check to the person and sold the car.

After that being said. If anyone wants to come see the car for them selves by all means you are welcome to. But the price is still 5,000 firm. And I will not budge, so please don't ask and I will not part it out. If anyone has someone already lined up to buy the parts that you don't want, you can buy the car and pull the parts yourself and sell them. Or you can put your money together and sort it out later

Problem is, if someone buys it and wants to sell it.....runs a VIN check whether the title is clear or not....the above is what they will find.

Put a engine and trans in and have a 16k car minimum? Not even if it didnt have title issues.

And only 9000 miles in 4 years?

I would like to add that I truly believe Disturbed Bird did not know there was a title issue until I informed him that it showed on the autocheck report. It's unfortunate that it wasn't disclosed to him when he bought the car. Factor in some of the parts he has on the car, especially the rear, and $5k isn't unreasonable. Especially if it's as clean as he says. It's just ashame that the autocheck shows the issues. Disturbed, maybe you should contact the state that issued the salvage title and see if the info on autocheck is correct. If there is a discrepancy, autocheck should be able to update the info. I'm curious now if carfax shows the same thing.
