Just to be clear... the title on the car is a REBUILT title, not a salvage title.

I was never trying to hide the fact that it had a rebuilt title. Anyone that has called, emailed, or PM'ed me it is the first thing that I have told them....
There is a huge difference between rebuilt and salvage titles, so I am not sure why everyone is acting like they are the same thing...

Honestly I have no idea... I just know that when I got the car, it had a rebuilt title.
I got the car bone stock from a theft recovery auction when it had 26k miles on it. When I got the car it had a rebuilt title as I said, but I have had no issues whatsoever with the car (I have put almost 60k miles on it since then).

A rebuilt title means the car as been deemed a total loss by insurance at one point in time and given a salvage title. The car was then repaired, inspected, and re registered with a rebuilt title. The implications on the value of the vehicle are the same. Also, some banks may not finance a theft/salvage/rebuilt title, but most will. Some insurance companies also might not allow full coverage on the vehicle, but, again, most will. Just be sure to check on this stuff in your area before committing to a buy.
