If I remember correctly the hood was the first mod I did and the clear coat cracking showed up within a few months. I lost my license shortly after that and had other things to worry about so I didn't ever take it back to the guy that painted it. It has been this way for about 4 years now and not gotten any worse. It's something that no one is going to notice unless they are really looking the car over closely. So if you are going to do car shows or something then you would want to get it repainted.

Some people just don't know what it takes to build a car like this and the things you can encounter in the middle of a project that make the price to dublicate this car very expensive...and that is if you can even get it right the first time like we did.
