Whats in the rear, spoll or posi?
Was is sprayed? Seems odd to have a cage, a 9' and then just exhaust work done.

pm's replied. and to answer your question Jay no I have never actually sprayed the car. I bought the rear end about two weeks after a bought the car knowing how weak the factory 10 bolts are especially with a 6 speed car. I planned on racing the car a lot more then I actually did. I wanted to build the drivetrain from the back to front since this is my dd to avoid breakage and being left with nothing to drive. I installed the cage because I got slicks and knew I was about to be knocking down very low 12's to high 11's (11.99 and faster is the nhra requirement for a roll bar). Plus I had bought a full nitrous system that I intended to install and run but never got around to. That would have no doubt got me kicked off the track so instead I put the cage in before having to deal with that.

true trac differential in the 9" for those wondering. It is not a spool. The car was daily driven with the 9" for about a year
