2000 Formula Firehawk
Year: 2000
Make: Pontiac
Model: Firebird
Price: $13500
Mileage: 60000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): GA
Color: Gray
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
Approximate performance numbers-
1/4 time- best of a 11.30 with a 1.80 60 foot of road race type DOT radials
1/4 speed- 129mph {as you can tell by the lazy 60ft and the speed, this car could run mid 10s if it hooked}
Braking from 60mph has been recorded at less than 94 feet. Won 0-60-0 event at Year One Experience two years in a row.
Cornering Gs has not been recorded but I'm sure it's in excess of 1g with the tires I normally run.
Top speed with the 4.10 gears should be around 175-180mph, rear gear swap to a 3.73 or a 3.42 should get near 200mph
Car weighs around 3400lbs with 1/4 of fuel.
Compare those numbers with any modern supercar and I think you will see it fairs very well.
Car has done sub 1:40 lap times at Road Atlanta and that was before the new engine with 150 less horsepower. Car has won and placed at several AutoXs including the Year One Experience at Road Atlanta and the Bristol Bash.
This car is a seriously fast car. It does have some small cosmetic issues associated with a car that actually sees the track {wheels in rough shape from brake dust and some paint issues. The 13.5K$ price given is as is. I will be fixing some of the issues and the price will go up according to condition but these are certainly not big cosmetic issues and are easily fixed. It's a great car and I thought I would be keeping this car for the rest of my life but my life has changed and I just don't use it anymore and rather than let it deteriorate from age and neglect as I'm looking into moving out of the country. I would like to sell or will entertain trades. Looking for a 3/4-1 ton 4X4 98 back Dodge Cummins or a 7.3L Ford.
Rather than posting pics I'll add a link to my Cardomain page. It is no longer 100% correct as I haven't updated it in quite awhile but it will give you all you would even need as far as specs, mods and pics.

The interior is in pretty good shape, very good shape actually. The seats {all of em, including the aluminium race seats} are in good shape. AC was working fine last I checked {last summer}.

Sorry to see you sell your Hawk. That is about the baddest f-body I've ever seen on the road. The car is a beast and a great example of the potential of these cars when used for more than just drag racing.
Good luck with whatever the future brings you.

Good luck and enjoy the extra time to play with the bikes.
The buyer of Judd's Hawk is getting an incredible car.
That Laguna Seca Boss is a wicked car. If I could get one in a single solid color (i.e. stripe / graphics delete), I'd really like it. Not a huge fan of the appearance, but the performance is awesome. I've very interested to see how it compares on a road course with a SVT Performance Package equipped GT500.
Right now I'm still up to my ears in family stuff (4 kids with 2 in diapers doesn't leave much time for anything else let alone cars). It just means all these great new cars coming out will have depreciated into my price range by the time I have any spare time again
You mentioned moving out of the country... where to?
